About The Photographer

She was born Juneisy Quintana in Havana, Cuba. At the age of 14 she emigrated to the United States with her parents and her then 6 year old brother. After finishing the 12th grade she joined the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsmans (medic) and was stationed in Chicago, Washington DC and Naples, Italy. She discovered photography a few years back with the aid of a borrowed old Minolta SLR. Now, several cameras later, she has found her calling in wedding and portrait photography and has decided to turn her passion into her full-time job. She was honorably discharged from the US Navy and, after marrying the love of her life and becoming Juneisy Q. Hawkins, she has settled in London where she and her husband intend to make their permanent home.
